Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 21, 2026 | Replaces the FarmLink terms dated March 24, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of the farmers markets management service operated by St. Joseph Center of Arkansas ("SJCA," "we," "our," or "us") at farmlink.us, including its SMS text-messaging program (together, the "Service"). By applying to sell at one of our markets, using the administrative web application, or texting our number, you agree to these Terms. Market rules published separately by SJCA also apply to producers and sponsors.
1. About the Service
The Service is how SJCA runs its farmers markets — currently the West Little Rock Farmers Market and the Argenta market. Producers apply to a market, are approved for that market, check in by text after each market date, and receive booth assignments and market announcements. SJCA staff use the web application to manage schedules, producers, booths, sponsors, fees, and the weekly lineup that is published on the market website and newsletter.
SJCA does not buy or sell producers' goods through the Service and is not a party to any sale a producer makes at a market. The earlier FarmLink farm-to-buyer ordering service has closed.
2. Eligibility and accuracy
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Information you give us in an application, a check-in, or otherwise must be accurate and kept up to date, including a working mobile number. Approval to sell at one market does not imply approval at another; each market keeps its own list.
3. SMS messaging terms
Text messaging is the primary way the Service communicates with producers. By providing a mobile number in a market application, or by texting our number, you consent to receive text messages from SJCA about the markets.
SMS program details
| Program name | SJCA Farmers Markets producer texts |
| Message types | Weekly check-in links, check-in reminders, booth assignments, market announcements (cancellations, schedule changes), and one-time login codes for staff |
| Message frequency | Varies with the market schedule; typically a few messages per market week during the season |
| Message & data rates | Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply |
| Opt-in | By providing your mobile number in a market application, or by texting our number |
| Opt out | Text STOP at any time. You will receive one confirmation and then no further automated texts. |
| Opt back in | Text START |
| Help | Text HELP, or email support@farmlink.us |
| Supported carriers | Major US carriers. Delivery depends on carriers and networks outside our control. |
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing anything. Because check-ins and booth assignments are delivered by text, opting out means you will need to arrange those with market staff directly.
4. Producer responsibilities
- Complete the weekly check-in by the deadline stated for your market. If you do not, we cannot hold your spot for the next market date.
- Attend the market dates you confirm, and tell us as early as you can if plans change.
- Follow the market rules, including any product, food-safety, licensing, and insurance requirements that apply to what you sell.
- Pay booth fees on the terms stated for your market. Fees and sponsorships are paid through Zeffy under Zeffy's own terms; SJCA records the payment to match it to your account.
You are responsible for the products you sell. SJCA does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any producer's goods.
5. Publication of the market lineup
To promote each market date, SJCA publishes the lineup of participating producers — business name, product categories, and what you tell us you are bringing — on the market website and in the market newsletter, and displays sponsor names and logos according to the sponsorship tier. By participating you allow SJCA to use your business name, logo, and product descriptions for this purpose. Sales estimates from check-ins are never published; they are used only in aggregate by SJCA staff.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not provide false information or impersonate another person or business
- Do not use the Service or our number to send spam or messages unrelated to the markets
- Do not interfere with the Service or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours
- Do not use automated tools to interact with the Service without our permission
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, and branding are owned by SJCA and protected by copyright and other laws. You keep ownership of the content you provide — your business name, logo, and product descriptions — and grant SJCA a non-exclusive license to use it to operate and promote the markets as described in section 5.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that every text message will be delivered.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SJCA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR YOUR PARTICIPATION IN A MARKET. SJCA'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID TO SJCA THROUGH THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SJCA and its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from the products you sell, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms or the market rules, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
You may stop participating at any time by contacting market staff or emailing support@farmlink.us. SJCA may decline an application, or suspend or remove a producer or sponsor from a market, in accordance with the market rules or if you violate these Terms. Our retention of records after termination is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pulaski County, Arkansas.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this address, and we will notify active producers by text or email before material changes take effect. Continued participation after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
