Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 21, 2026 | Replaces the FarmLink policy dated March 24, 2026
St. Joseph Center of Arkansas ("SJCA," "we," "our," or "us") operates the farmers markets management service at farmlink.us, including its SMS text-messaging program (together, the "Service"). The Service helps us run our farmers markets — currently the West Little Rock Farmers Market and the Argenta market — by coordinating with the producers who sell there, assigning booths, tracking sponsors and fees, and preparing the weekly market lineup. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect through the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The earlier FarmLink farm-to-buyer ordering service has closed. Information collected by that service is being archived and removed as described in section 5.
1. Information we collect
- Producer information: business name, contact name, mobile phone number, email address, the products you sell and their category, the markets you apply to, documents you submit with an application, and your booth history.
- Weekly check-ins: your answers to the post-market check-in — whether you plan to attend the next market date, what you plan to bring, what sold out or was left over, an estimate of your sales, and any feedback.
- Messages: every text message we send you and every text you send us, with delivery status, so we can confirm what was sent and honor opt-out requests.
- Sponsor information: organization name, contact details, logo, website, and sponsorship tier.
- Payment records: when a booth fee, sponsorship, or donation is paid through Zeffy, we receive and store the amount, date, and payer name and email so we can match the payment to a producer or sponsor. We do not receive or store card or bank details.
- Administrator accounts: name, phone number, email, role, and a log of actions taken in the administrative web application.
Sales estimates you report in a check-in are visible only to SJCA market staff and are used and reported only in aggregate. We do not publish or share an individual producer's sales figures.
2. How we use your information
- To review market applications and maintain each market's approved-producer list
- To send the weekly check-in link, reminders, your booth assignment, and market announcements such as cancellations or schedule changes
- To assign booths and plan each market date
- To prepare the market lineup — the participating producers and what they are bringing — for the market website and email newsletter
- To record sponsorships and match booth-fee and sponsorship payments
- To respond to your questions and to diagnose and fix problems with the Service
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
3. SMS messaging and mobile privacy
If you apply to sell at one of our markets and provide a mobile number, or if you text our number, you consent to receive text messages from SJCA about the markets: check-in links, reminders, booth assignments, market announcements, and one-time login codes. These are operational messages, not advertising; we do not send marketing texts.
Message frequency depends on the market schedule and your activity — typically a few messages per market week during the season. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
You may opt out at any time by texting STOP to our number. You will receive one confirmation and then no further automated texts. Text START to opt back in, or HELP for assistance. Because check-ins are sent by text, opting out means we cannot send your weekly check-in link or booth assignment, and you will need to arrange those with market staff directly.
Your mobile number and SMS opt-in information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
4. How we share your information
- Publicly, as part of the market lineup: your business name, the products or categories you sell, and what you tell us you are bringing may appear on the market's website and in the market newsletter for the dates you attend. Sponsor names and logos are displayed according to the sponsorship tier. We do not publish contact details, check-in answers, or sales figures.
- Service providers: we use voip.ms to send and receive text messages, Resend to send email, Google Cloud and Firebase to host the Service and store its data, Zeffy to process payments, and Mailchimp and Duda to publish the newsletter and market website. We use Anthropic's Claude only to help our staff diagnose system errors; producer messages and personal information are not sent to it for that purpose. These providers process information only to provide their services to us.
- Legal requirements: we may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of SJCA, our producers, or the public.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Data retention
We keep producer, sponsor, and administrator information for as long as you participate in our markets or hold an account, and afterward as needed for our records, for reporting on the markets, and to meet legal and financial obligations. Message logs and check-in responses are kept for the same purposes. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (section 7); we will remove it except where we are required to keep a record.
Records from the closed FarmLink ordering service have been exported to a restricted archive controlled by SJCA and removed from the live Service.
6. Data security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access to the administrative application requires a one-time code sent to a registered staff phone number, and staff actions are logged. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights and choices
- Ask us to correct or update your information
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Request deletion of your information
- Opt out of text messages by texting STOP
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@farmlink.us or contact SJCA market staff.
8. Children's privacy
The Service is for producers, sponsors, and staff aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this address, and we will notify active producers by text or email before material changes take effect.
